That’s really up to you. There are two ways to order your new roof:
Our technology is powerful and can measure most roofs, but some homes in more rural areas or that have too many trees blocking the areal view escape us. Don’t worry though; we still want to work with you to complete your roof replacement project. Just give us a call at 336-988-ROOF (7663) to schedule a time for us to swing by and measure your roof by hand.
How accurate are the roof measurements? Our measurement technology uses a hybrid of arial flyover and satellite images to achieve incredibly accurate measurements, however we will verify those measurements when we perform our pre-inspection.
Who will install our roof?We have recruited the top licensed, insured and bonded subcontractors, and put each crew through our rigorous training program to ensure that every nail is placed on the nail line and every piece of flashing is bent and installed in a uniform consistent manor.
How long does the installation process take? Most roofs can be installed from start to finish in one day. Pitch, size and home style are the primary considerations that go into how long your installation will take. Some homes will go into a second day, but we will give you an idea of how long to expect when we do our pre-inspection.
What if I need plywood replaced or there is another unforeseen issue that arises during installation? We inspect each roof thoroughly prior to ordering materials to eliminate unforeseen issues from popping up, but there are just some things that we can not see until we begin removing your existing roof. We will have plywood on site, and will be replaced at $75/sheet (labor and materials) along with photo documentation of the damage.
How do I know I am getting the best value on my new roof?Best price guarantee: If you receive a lower estimate from a local reputable roofing contractor just present the contract including product line and scope of work, and we’ll match their price and give you an extra $100 discount to boot.
Best quality guarantee: We take great pride in every project we work on, and that’s why we can offer a lifetime workmanship warranty. We hire only the best of the best, and use a bonus system to inspire our roofers to perform to perfection.
When will my new roof be installed? We ask that you select an available date that is convenient for you on our easy online schedule. The date you choose must be a minimum of 2 weeks after contract signing to allow us to procure and deliver all materials necessary to complete your project.
Should I plan on being home while my new roof is being installed? You are not required to be home during installation. In fact, because installing your roof is a noisy process, we recommend selecting a date that you have errands to run or another reason to be out of the house. You will need to make sure your driveway is clear and items like BBQs and yard decorations are clear from damage if you won’t be home. We will provide you with a simple checklist of pre-installation recommendations.
How and when do I pay for my new roof?We require a 50% down payment at contract signing and the balance due upon completion. Under certain circumstances i.e. some insurance jobs or the use financing the deposit may be waived.

Most residential fences in the Triad run $14–$45 per linear foot depending on style: chain-link $14–$18, split rail $18–$24, picket $22–$28, wood privacy $28–$38, aluminum $30–$45, and vinyl $32–$42. Walk gates run $400–$600 and drive gates $900–$1,500. You can get a real number for your specific yard with our online fence estimator in about a minute.
What is the best fence for North Carolina storms?Aluminum is the storm champion — it lets wind pass through and never rots. If you need privacy, go wood: a shadow-box wood privacy fence takes the hit and keeps standing, while vinyl panels tend to pop off the rails in a big gust and get brittle from UV over time. We break it down fence style by style in our NC storm fence guide.
Do I need a permit for a fence, and how long does installation take? Most Triad cities require a permit inside city limits, and we handle the paperwork as part of your job. Once materials are on site, most residential fences take one to two days to build. You schedule your install date online, the same as with a roof.
We publish our pricing so you can plan before you talk to anyone: pressure-treated ground-level decks run $35–$45 per square foot, raised PT decks $45–$55, and composite $60–$75. Stairs run $450–$650 per set, and tearing out an old deck runs $8–$15 per square foot. Use the online deck estimator for a number on your actual project.
Wood or composite deck — which should I choose?Pressure treated is the budget workhorse: cheaper up front and easy to repair, but it needs cleaning and sealing every couple of years. Composite costs more up front but shrugs off NC humidity and stays low-maintenance for decades. If you want the lowest total cost over 20 years and don’t mind a weekend of upkeep, go PT. If you want to build it and forget it, go composite.
Can you build a deck in fall or winter in North Carolina?Yes. Fall is actually one of the best times to build — cooler weather is easier on the materials and crews, and you beat the spring rush. We build decks year-round, weather permitting, and the same online estimate and scheduling process applies.
